Anthony Rivers is a transformative leader in workplace equity, mental health advocacy, and child empowerment. With over a decade of experience spanning public health, government, and community sectors, he is a trusted strategist and facilitator specializing in inclusive hiring, trauma-informed organizational change, and culturally responsive leadership.

As a former Equity and Social Justice Manager and Health Equity Program Director, Anthony has partnered with executives, HR teams, and DEI practitioners to embed anti-bias strategies across the employee lifecycle—fostering workplaces where everyone feels safe, seen, and valued.

Beyond the boardroom, Anthony is the creator behind Books By Nakia—a powerful collection of children’s books designed to promote mental health, diversity, and abuse prevention. His acclaimed S.T.O.P. Series helps kids, parents, and educators recognize and prevent child abuse grooming through empowering storytelling. His work also includes books that encourage boys to embrace emotional expression and inspire girls to explore nontraditional careers.

A certified peer mental health specialist, author, and speaker, Anthony channels his lived experience with bipolar disorder into healing-centered tools that support youth resilience and self-worth. His approach combines psychological insight, cultural humility, and a fierce commitment to dismantling stigma and structural barriers.

Anthony's consulting, coaching, and creative projects all carry a common mission: to transform trauma into strength, and intention into lasting, inclusive change.
